In a recent article by The Atlantic, the article is about how the Data selling company Facebook, sells peoples data to make revenue.

But more importantly how few individuals know and understand this. In the online world, your online presence is a constant break in your privacy; it is of paramount importance that we as users of the web take a closer and more thorough look at what we choose to these companies and further the world and how that data may help or harm us in the future. While it is not surprising that Facebook which with Google make up 70 percent of online data farms are selling our data, it is essential to recognize this and take the necessary precautions to make sure what you do is only known to you. I could go into detail regarding defenses against such invasions of privacy, but in doing so, I would compromise my own privacy.
